AI Lab at CFY

The Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (AI Lab) at the Common First Year Deanship is an emerging research and development space focused on artificial intelligence education, product innovation, and operational efficiency.
As part of King Saud University’s broader AI ecosystem, the lab explores key AI domains—such as machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, robotics, and AI ethics—to foster academic inquiry and commercially viable solutions.
Through cutting-edge research, the lab advances AI methodologies, explores novel applications, and contributes to scientific knowledge in alignment with national and global AI trends.
Equipped with modern computing infrastructure, specialized AI tools, and collaborative workspaces, the lab empowers students, faculty, and industry partners to develop AI-driven products that can improve processes and generate return on investment (ROI).
To promote AI literacy and skill development, the lab offers workshops, seminars, and hands-on training, enabling participants to acquire real-world expertise and contribute to tangible outcomes.
By raising operational efficiency within the deanship and collaborating with the Artificial Intelligence Office (AIO) at King Saud University, the AI Lab plays a strategic role in advancing AI research, driving innovation, and enhancing value across multiple disciplines and industries.
