The Unit of Excellence in Teaching and Learning at the Common First Year Deanship seeks to achieve excellence in learning and teaching through
Improving academic practices and promoting a culture of quality learning. To this end, the unit seeks to:
- Improve academic practices through faculty training.
- Promote a culture of quality learning by raising awareness of the significance of learning, teaching and professional programs.
- Prepare and supervise programs and workshops in teaching and learning.
- Transfer the best educational initiatives to improve the level of educational practices.
- Inspire and support best practices in teaching which promote effective learning for all students.
