The Common First Year has received special attention from the leaders of King Saud University and the Ministry of Education. This has enabled it to achieve its vision of leadership and excellence in students' education by providing qualitative education in a stimulating and effective environment for students' personal and academic skills to succeed in university life. In doing so, it is taking steady steps working towards Saudi Arabia’s vision through educational programs adapted to today's developments and requirements, the development’s needs and the labor market. Those programs contribute to the development of all education system components, including faculty, governance, evaluation systems, quality, curricula and educational, vocational and environmental pathways, thereby becoming consistent with modern and innovative trends in the fields of education and achieve inclusivity, quality, flexibility and service to all segments of society.
