This course is offered in the Humanities Track in semester one. The course focuses on developing communicative competence in all four language skills. This elementary course (A1-A2) aims to enable students to identify the main points in short, simple listening and reading texts, locate simple vocabulary, understand basic grammar, communicate and participate in short social exchanges on familiar topics, and construct a series of phrases and sentences using simple connectors.
