INDUCTIONS

Designed for new hires to help them assimilate and understand the ELSD operations.

MENTORING

The pairing of new teachers with ELSD experienced and PD trained teachers. The mentoring program is in place to assist new teachers with their everyday logistic needs.

OBSERVATIONS

To develop the CFY teachers’ professional performances through observing their full lessons and giving constructive feedback on both areas of strengths and weaknesses. 

BUZZ OBSERVATIONS

To ensure that protocols are adhered to and that quality teaching and learning is taking place in the classroom.

WEEKLY PD WORKSHOPS

To develop CFY teachers’ professionalism and their classroom performances. These interactive workshops are delivered by experienced teachers, coordinators and the PD team.

ANNUAL PD WEEK

A full week organized for the ELSD-CFY teachers to improve their teaching skills and knowledge by attending a range of workshops and plenary sessions delivered by internal as well as external speakers.

SURVEYS

A generic PD survey is sent to teachers across all campuses to receive feedback on all areas of PD operations.
