Faculty Committee

VISION

Leadership and excellence in providing distinguished and integrated services to faculty members and the like in the Department of Self-development Skills at the Common First Year Deanship in order to raise their job satisfaction level through a developed and ideal work environment in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

MISSION

Excellence in facilitating work procedures and completing them with a high degree of proficiency by applying the best standards in providing the faculty members and the like in the Department of Self-development Skills at the Common First Year Deanship with distinguished services in a way that contributes to achieving the deanship’s directives towards excellence.

Objectives of the Committee

  • Developing and improving all services provided to the faculty members and the like in the Department of Self-development Skills at the Common First Year Deanship.
  • Implementing the organizational regulations and sensitizing all Self-development Skills Department faculty members to them to enhance transparency and objectivity.
  • Contributing to enhancing the job satisfaction of the Self-development Skills Department faculty members
  • Ensuring the implementation of rules and regulations to guarantee the rights of all faculty members in the Self-development Skills Department.
  • Striving to achieve job satisfaction among faculty members in the Department of Self-development Skills.

Major Responsibilities of the Committee

  • Reviewing the new faculty members employment applications and submitting its recommendations to the department council.
  • Reviewing the faculty members and the like requests related to promotions, secondments, consulting (full-time and part-time), secondment, transfer, conference attendance, training workshops, and courses, and submitting their recommendations to the department council.
  • Considering the requests to appoint teaching assistants, lecturers, researchers, and research assistants, and submitting their recommendations to the department council.
  • Studying the scholarship applications ro ensure that that their specializations are consistent with the department’s requirements.
  • Preparing reports on the academic status of the department’s scholarship students and submitting them to the department council.
