Development and Quality Committee
The Development and Quality Committee is established at the beginning of each academic year by decision of the authority holder (Department Chair) and works on applying the quality controls academically and administratively.
Objectives
- Upgrading the application of quality tools in the department in line with the Deanship’s directions.
- Surveying students and faculty satisfaction on aspects of the department.
- Participating with the Vice Deanship for Development and Quality to implement the Deanship's strategic plan.
- Disseminating quality culture among department affiliates
Committee Major Duties:
- Preparing the executive plan of the Self-Development Skills Department at the beginning of each academic year.
- Following-up and reviewing the course specifications of the department.
- Preparing and developing student satisfaction questionnaires on aspects of the department.
- Administrating the student satisfaction questionnaires on the various aspects of the department each semester.
- Preparing a student satisfaction report on the aspects of the department each semester.
- Preparing faculty satisfaction questionnaires on aspects of the department.
- Administrating the faculty satisfaction questionnaires on aspects of the department each semester.
- Preparing a faculty satisfaction report on aspects of the department each semester.
- Following-up and reviewing course reports each semester.
- Spreading quality culture among department staff and employees.
- Applying the new requirements issued by the Vice Deanship for Development and Quality.
- Representing the department in the creation and modification of the ISO system (Quality Management System).
- Representing the department in the preparation of the department's files for academic accreditation.
