To improve the level of scientific research at the Self-Development Skills Department to serve the community.
Mission
To contribute to building a knowledge society by supporting research practices in the Self-Development Skills Department.
Goals
- Spreading the culture of scientific research among the faculty in the department.
- Providing an attractive and stimulating environment for scientific research in the department.
- Enhancing the research skills of the department’s staff, through lectures, workshops, and scientific discussions.
- Helping and encouraging the department faculty to conduct innovative scientific studies and publish in academic journals.
- Raising awareness of the department faculty to the potential of carrying out interdisciplinary research across CFY departments.
Major duties of the committee
- Spreading and enhancing the culture of scientific research in the department.
- Coordinating training courses and workshops to support the deanship’s efforts in scientific research.
- Preparing a database of all faculty members in the department and those of the like, in terms of research publications and conference participations.
- Implementing the duties assigned by the Chair of the Self-Development Skills Department.
