3. Enhancing the university's mental image internally and externally.
4. Activating the role of universities in community service.
5. Promoting the scientific and cultural exchange between the university and society in various fields.
6. Guiding scientific research and conferences towards community service.
7. Recruiting graduates through partnerships with the different sectors.
8. Spreading the community work culture among students and university workers.
Stages of a Community Partnership
Community Work Service Delivery Controls
1. Participations and activities shall be compatible with the Kingdom's regulations and shall be free from illegitimate infringements
2. Participations and activities have to be compatible with society's cultural and social norms and traditions.
3. Participants should abide by the regulations and circulars governing them.
4. Be suitable for the target group taking into account individual differences.
5. Closely linked to the aims, objectives and directions of the services provided by the university and the partner.
6. Clearly identifying the withdrawal controls of any party of the partnership.
7. Identification of the mechanism for the resolution of disputes (if any) and the mechanism for the abolition of partnership in the event of a party's wish to do so.
8. Reviewing of the contract in accordance with the university’s regulations or those issued in that regard.
9. Ensuring that there is no conflict of interest prior to signing the partnership contract.
10. All programs and events shall be in accordance with the needs of the beneficiaries of the community.
11. Clarifying the roles and the responsibilities of each party in the community work.
12. Maintaining each party’s privacy during the contract period of community work.
